सड़कों पर गढ्ढे

गड्ढों में जनतंत्र

वोट नोट कर हजम

बिंधास्त - बेफिक्र 

मंत्री - संत्री

सरकारी यंत्र - तंत्र!

पेट जो गया भर

कौन पूछें - सुने

जन समस्या - जन स्वर!

राजनीति की खासियत

वोट तक, नोट तक

हो नतमस्तक,

वादे, नेक इरादे

चिंता, फिक्र 

की अमृत वाणी

चहुं ओर..

और "लक्ष्य" प्राप्ति पर

यूं ग्रसित होती

यंत्र तंत्र की वाणी,

हो जैसे

Absolute absence of any transperency, mechanism of accountability, monitoring and responsibility towards the public/public sentiments - well being, high handedness of the administration coupled with whims, fancies, vested interests and ambitions of the people in power are the anthem of governance almost everywhere. Similar act seems is being resorted to in the case of Ajni Van.

Was SWOT analysis of the various so called or so required models of development including INS done? Was analysis of what will be the consequences on the environment post masaccre of thousands of trees, done beforehand? 

The administration quotes that it will transplant/translocate/plant trees in multiple times of the trees that are proposed to be cut.

That transplantation is a farce and absolutely unsuccessful is a well known fact. We know very well how much deligent and sincere the administration is in planting and monitoring the maintenance of the trees planted. 

Besides, can newly planted trees all of a sudden fill the vacuum caused by cutting of thousands of fully grown trees? 

In a nutshell, the reasonings, arguments and assurances of the administration are nothing but cheap appeasement, false, illogical, impractical and made just to flag off their ambitious project.

Free RTPCR camp for Household Staff of Shivaji Nagar

On 24th April, 2021, I had Organised RTPCR free testing camp at Shivaji Nagar. The testing was done by NMC. 

It was organised only for Housemaids, Drivers and Security Guards of the locality.

First time NMC did this in one specific locality.

Out of 57 Rtpcar tests done, 10 came positive.

That comes to 17% of household staff who despite being positive were going to work daily, meeting people.

Imagine their ability to be a superspreaders!

Camps to conduct RTPCR should be organised.

Can camps be organised by NMC wherein housing apartments in a single lane (with limit in numbers) be asked to conduct RTPCR of their maids/drivers/household helps/guards? Unknown carriers might get sorted out. 

Validity of test report can be fixed in terms of days. I think every bit of feasible +ve steps will help to reduce the spread of Covid. 

Corporators of the respective areas should use their funds for such purpose if required rather than wasting on monuments and other unconstructive/easily avoidable just eye candy, cheap appeasing works. 

This way tax payers money will be used for tgeir own and societies benefit (for a change). Even companies under CSR can help.
